About Me

Hi, I’m Asha (She/Her). Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit more about me. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. My journey in the helping professions began in 1997 as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and I bring the wisdom gained from over two decades in health care into my therapy practice today.

Over the years, I have worked in a variety of roles, each of which has shaped my understanding of human resilience and healing. My experience includes working as: Addiction Treatment Counselor, Program Coordinator for an Opioid-Specific  Day Rehabilitation Center, Dialysis Social Worker, and Youth Advocate. This diverse background has given me a broad perspective on mental health and a deep commitment to supporting individuals through their unique struggles and journeys.

My Therapy Approach

My therapy style is relational and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-based, also known as parts work. I believe that healing begins with understanding the different parts of ourselves and how they interact with one another. My approach is trauma-informed, race-conscious, and always strengths-focused. I am dedicated to helping you explore and embrace your strengths while gently guiding you through challenges and growth.

As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I strive to create a welcoming and affirming space for all identities and lifestyles. My practice is gender/non-binary affirming, kink-positive, and polyamorous & consensual non-monogamy friendly. Additionally, I am able to provide WPATH SoC v8 letters of support.

No matter your background or experience, I am here to meet you where you are and support your journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.
